James M. Palermo, DDS, MS
Dr. James Palermo’s private practice began in 1972 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
He earned his DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1967. Dr. Palermo served 4 years in the United States Air Force. Dr. Palermo then completed his residency in periodontology, andreceived a Master of Science from The Ohio State University.
He was servicing as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Periodontology at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry for over 20 years and officially retired from teaching in 2016.
Dr. Palermo is also a current member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, past President of Ohio Academy of Periodontology and Columbus Academy of Periodontology.
While he may not be providing treatment for patients any longer at our practice, you can see him most days stopping in for a quick hello to staff & previous periodontal patients, and attending continuing education courses & lunch meetings with Dr. Cacchillo & Dr. Daniel with our referring doctors.
